Your real estate experience should not be intimidating.

Todd Hofer

There are a lot of reasons why Todd stands apart from other real estate agents in the Triangle. Here are answers to a few questions you may have as you decide if he’s the right realtor for you. We affectionately call this section, “Hey Todd”.

The best realtor is the one that cares the most about you. If you’re looking for a 5-star realtor in Wake Forest, Youngsville, Wakefield, North Raleigh—or anywhere in the Triangle—it would be my privilege to serve you.

Hey Todd, you had a long, successful career as a real estate appraiser in the Triangle—why did you decide to become a realtor?

I chose to obtain my real estate license for a variety of reasons. But mainly, I noticed a general trend among real estate agents toward popularity as opposed to knowledge and expertise. Don’t get me wrong! There are excellent agents out there, but they are more rare than you might think. As a real estate appraiser, I often interacted with well-meaning realtors who either didn’t have the knowledge they needed to guide their clients through one of the most important (and costly) decisions of their lives, or—even worse—they wanted to make the deal work even if it wasn’t in the best interest of their client. This frustrated me too no end. So, I wanted to jump into the real estate field and offer something different.

Hey Todd, are you saying you’d talk clients out of buying a house?

Yep. That’s me. See, I have a yearning for truth and a heart for people in all my transactions. If it’s best for a young couple to sit tight and keep saving and come back to me in a year, I’m going to tell them that. If they want to move ahead anyway, I will help them find the best home at the best price for their situation.

Hey Todd, what’s your bottom-line motivation for your career as a realtor?

At the end of any given day, I want to lay my head down and know that I’ve offered my clients the absolute best advice and expertise.
